where wine is concerned... what global financial crisis
Well this past week at Char has seen the Brisbane dining crowd thumb their nose to the Global Financial Crisis with several nights this week surpassing all previous bench marks in the purchase of fine wines. On an inconspicuous school night her at Char I saw something never before seen with almost two thirds of the tables in the restaurant giving the Char Cellar List a premium work out with all consuming several bottles of high end premium and super premium wines together with three courses. Glad to see the Bris Vegas crowd happy to put the hands in the pocket and get in amongst it and enjoy some of the finer things in life.
