THE Helen Hackett Foundation Committee would like to thank you for your generous support of our foundation 2011.
The third annual Helen Hackett Foundation luncheon at Il Centro and Cha Cha Char Restaurants was an outstanding success and raised more than $120, 000 for the Wesley Breast Clinic. This incredible achievement exceeded even our wildest expectations.
In just four years, the Foundation has raised more than $500 000.
The cheque has been written by the HHF and the Mammography units are now due for delivery by the end of September 2011. This technology provides a much clearer image of younger women and women with denser breast tissue and can detect potentially life-threatening tumours earlier.
This achievement is thanks entirely to a large number of very generous businesses and individuals like you.
Charities are only as successful as the people that support them and we thank you for supporting us.
You have make a world of difference to someone’s mother, wife, sister or friend……….So, one day soon, it won’t just be us who says ‘thank-you’.

We had dinner at Cha Cha Char on Thursday.
On Chef Ben's suggestion we had the magnificent rump cap. Delicious. But just as important, the service of the following three deserves a mention...
Ben (who we had a quick chat with before sitting down), a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable Cedric, and a smiley, friendly, efficient Tyler made for a most enjoyable evening.
Thanks again for your time on Tuesday, great to meet you, and Tarek assures me that he will follow up on the potential Egyptian staff looking for a move to Brisbane!

Just wanted to flick you guys an email thanking you for last night. Ben and I had a fantastic night and the food was outstanding as usual. Can't tell you how good it is to get amongst it and be able to confidently recommend both your restaurant and individual dishes for that matter.
The format of the night was spot on I think. Being able to sample most/all of what you guys had to offer really makes a difference as far as getting a holistic feel for the menu. That Rump Cap was unbelievable!

We redeemed the very generous “diner of the month” voucher on Friday 15th,and want to express our absolute satisfaction. The meals, as usual, were excellent, and the service from our waitress was a credit to your restaurant. None of my guests had been to Char Char ,and all have told me, and other people, how much they enjoyed the whole experience, and that they will be returning.

Sunny and I would like to say thank you for your hospitality on Saturday night when we dropped in. After having dinner on Eagle St that night it was really nice to ‘bar hop’ the restaurants along the pier.
Just so you are aware, our new Chief Concierge, Graham, commenced yesterday. I will be taking Graham for a walk along Eagle St / Riverside Centre over the next couple of weeks to introduce him to the restaurants and key staff within and hope that he has the opportunity to meet you.
Also, it was good to see Mohammad again as I have not seen him since we worked together at the Stamford Plaza some time ago.
Thanks again Brendan and we look forward to seeing you again sometime in the near future.

Tammie and I dinned at Char Char Char on Saturday night and it was just exquisite! Jay looked after us personally, making suggestions for us to try and they were all first class. His service was so professional – he knew how to assist at perfect times but give us space also. His knowledge of food and wine and how to bring the best out of them was exceptional. The food and wine were faultless.
It has truly restored our faith and we will certainly be dining there again. Thank you very much for your kindness of looking after us – we do appreciate it. While we did thank Jay and his staff, could you kindly also pass on our thanks for a very impressive night.

I just wanted to say thank you for inviting myself, my 2 staff and Daniel (porter of the Marriott) to experience Cha Cha Char first hand.
Between us we enjoyed 2 Waygu’s, an Eye Fillet and the one had the egg on top (nice touch!) and a dessert which finished the night off perfectly.
I have no doubts that it has been beneficial for the restaurant as all of us had not been before and can now sell the restaurant by adding in our own personal experiences.
They were all speaking very highly of the service, location and food and I will ensure that the rest of my team are informed of our experience and that they can also recommend Cha Cha Char with as much enthusiasm as we will.
Caine was also very good on the night as was our waitress (sorry I did not get her name but she had long brown hair).
Thanks again Chris and I look forward to catching up in the future.
